LIMBO was first released for the PC and Xbox years ago, but now it is available on Android and other mobile platforms. The game is a 2D puzzle game that is fairly unique in terms of presentation and visuals, and it has a decent amount of gameplay to keep the player interested.

In this game, the player controls a young boy who is traveling through a world full of creatures and other entities that are trying to stop him. The game is relatively straightforward in its objective, which is to make it through each level by solving different puzzles, but the environment is both frightening at times and very strange, which creates a sense of tension and unease that follows the player throughout the game. This might sound negative, but it makes the game feel more exciting and real.

Just like most puzzle games, this game requires a lot of deep thought mixed with good timing and a bit of luck. There are many puzzles that will be impossible to solve immediately, but those are usually the most engaging situations. The game is clearly meant to be rather difficult, and the atmosphere of the game portrays that very well. It has a creepiness to it that doesn't seem to fade as you play, and there are numerous moments that many might consider scary or gruesome.

The main character has no dialogue, so the game is lacking in terms of a real story, but most 2D platformers don't have much in the way of a plot. The game still has many moments that will stick out in your memory, and many players have said that playing the game in a dark room strengthens the experience even further. Unfortunately, the game isn't that long, but it keeps the player entertained the entire time, which is a rare thing for modern mobile games.

The original version of this game was made for the PC and Xbox, so the controls have had to be ported to make them work with the touchscreen platform of modern mobile systems. This port was done quite well, and there aren't any on-screen buttons cluttering up the scenery. Instead, the player controls the character with swipe and tapping gestures.

There are some examples of advanced controls that take a bit to deduce, like how to run and jump, or how to drag objects from one place to another. Of course, as with most video game controls, once you find the pattern, they are easy to master.

Despite the fact that this game is more or less in monotone colors of black, white, and grey, the graphics themselves are fairly advanced. The animations are smooth, and the gameplay is cinematic in nature. There are liquid effects and dust clouds that bring the realism to a new level, and the sound effects are perfect for the creepiness in this game.
